Caring for your silk velvet kaftan

Silk Velvet Kaftans can be either Dry Cleaned or Hand Washed with care following the instruction below.

Handwash separately in warm water using a mild detergent such a Woolite. Rinse well in cold water.

Gently squeeze out excess water (never wring or twist silk as it may weaken the fibers).

Silk velvet should be left to dry before pressing with an iron on the back of the fabric. Never place an iron onto silk velvet as this will leave a mark on the silk.

The velvet side of the wrap can be steamed without placing the iron directly onto the fabric.

Due to nature of hand painting all kaftans will vary slightly in colour and size.
